Slam Dunk Salsa

In my house, our go-to snack is always chips and salsa!  Whether I use fresh tomatoes or canned, this salsa recipe will not last long.

I am not sure where this particular recipe originated, but to me it tastes just like the salsa served at Chili’s.

Homemade Salsa

What you will need:

2 (14.5 oz) cans whole, peeled, tomatoes drained
1/2 small diced jalapeno, deseeded
1/4 onion
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. sugar
juice from half a lime
pinch of salt, if desired

What to do:

Place all ingredients in blender or food processor until smooth.  Chill 30 minutes.  Serve with tortilla chips.
